Peter Moore, Ex boss of Interactive Entertainment Division at Microsoft has commented that the release date would depend on the CPU’s which will be in use around 2012-2013.He emphasized that it is very necessary that most people can sync their hardware with the console .That means the release date could further extend if the right hardware for the console will not be in popular use .As buying a altogether new configuration just for the Xbox 720 could affect its sale and popularity.
2012 would be 6 years since the very popular Xbox 360 released so it will just be right for the release of the new console.
